@fbueckert that's so stupid though. If you NEED compatibility mode you can just add one line of HTML into the <head>. One modification for legacy code that can't break anything. Instead their method requires all NEW sites FOREVER to add compatibility attributes to get OUT of compatibility mode

I'd rather add one line of code to all of the broken intranet apps than screw up all the modern ones or mess with group policy to achieve what should be a sane default
