How do i fix my minecraft inventory on the mac, I am trying to select items but ever since the recent update i have to click on the item and drag it to my inventory and it isn't working to fast move it using shift, thats not working either, so if you have an answer please help!

Is there any way to change your starting armor? For example, I started with a Spiral Sallet with Mecha Wings, and a regular Spiral Armor. Can I change these to something else? Or are they stuck like that permanently?
