I am considering picking up the dysgaea series because I enjoy turn based strategy with a fantasy background.
Is it okay to start on Dysgaea 3: Absence of Justice or will much be missed from the previous games?
Are the stories connected or is like Final Fantasy where the stories are always new ...
@Sterno I asked one of those for The Witcher 2 and it spawned a big argument about whether they should be allowed or something. I really don't have an opinion one way or the other on those questions.

I think my problem with the "Will I be missing stuff? Should I play the first one?" questions is simply in the phrasing. The first answer is almost always "yes" and the second one is "Depends how OCD you are"

Because I got killed by a completely invisible Kritz Demo who reappeared minutes later. Been getting this since the MvM update and it's driving me insane. I'm thinking reinstalling it would do it, but I'm lazy
@BoltClock I was trying to think what was exactly 12 hours off, and I thought Australia was 13 or 14, not exactly 12, but I couldn't figure out what was one time zone closer. Singapore makes sense.
I don't know the exact timings, but EDT is definitely longer.
Let me look into it a bit more.
December, January, and February are the only months entirely within Standard time. April, May, June, July, August, September, and October are entirely within Daylight time.

Anyway, it looks like you don't have to bother with the left map edge much, since you are on that edge, which is good - one less direction to get shot from.
Your Skyranger (or any other of your landing crafts) can't be destroyed or damaged by any of the weapons on the ground, so use it for cover This should get you at least half of your crew out alive. :)
I managed to get agent86 to a good ambush spot. Then when I tried to have him turn towards an alley, I accidentally had him walk into it instead. He didn't make it. :)
