@Krazer Yeah, that could be a plot tie in for 3. Also, just because you kill them all and destroy their soulstones in 2, doesn't mean they are really gone. It was supposed to banish them from sanctuary, but then Tyreal destroys the Worldstone - possibly that also means all bets are off.

@Lazers I'm pretty sure the answer is "No." But that's just my first reaction. It is possible, however unlikely, that a game released only in Japan so far would have English subs.
There are a few games (I think you can find a list on Gaijin Gamers from 2010), but usually they were already slated for release outside Japan when they added English subs, they are a re-release (à la international version), they were released outside Japan first, and they almost never are something as textually packed as an RPG.
It's indeterminate. Level-5 hasn't done this with any of their previous games and they weren't even sure of an international release until sometime in the last year.
I'll correct myself. It's impossible for me to determine as I have no copy of the JP version and have no sources on this. Thus to me it is undetermined (stupid English typos) so I don't know.

@Randy6T9 The only other games I know of in a similar vein are 2 flash games on Kongregate, Light Bot and Light Bot 2.0. I'm afraid I don't really know of any more, sorry!
@Krazer Usually more interactive things. The (very similar at times) RPG genre, turn-based strategy. A lot of ARPGs lately with the hybrid (and a few straight-up) shooters thrown in for good measure. I play a bit of RTS, but I'm quite terrible at them. I buy and play puzzle, action, platformer, adventure, etc. But tend to beat them so quickly and easily that they are in the minority.
@Randy6T9 Alas, the only iPad I have access to is not my own. Most of my iOS fun is on iPod, although I've cleared and nearly finished the high-score runs for all levels of all versions of Angry Birds on someone else's iPad.

I would've liked to have seen more of the Tsukihime universe than the anime covered. Well I guess all of the Type-Moon multiverse. Thank goodness for Carnival Phantasm.
@Krazer It wasn't the best at reflecting the source material, but the animation and acting were enjoyable. I think it probably captured some of the spirit and some of the idea, but it wasn't the best adaptation.
Another very original iPhone/iPod game is Eliss. Unfortunately it seems to be abandoned by dev and is begging to be ported to iPad. It uses a lot of multitouch. You have to divide and combine these orbs and manage to keep different colors apart and it gets much more involved from there. Has an retro graphics style and soundtrack too.
Krazer, Collision effect is somewhat similar, but Eliss is definitely unique in many ways. It's a brilliant use of multitouch, I think. You have to use many fingers at a time to manage everything.
