@James As I understand it, if you completed the first round, you're automatically in; if you got the game but not the questions, you're automatically out; and if you didn't get the game in the first one, you're randomly selected after those that automatically get it until they get 20.

@James the system only tracks views per question. I generate "per post" views based on the rep share each post got.

so if you got 50% of the rep, I give you 50% of the credit for the views.

It only acts like it's charging if it's in the wall socket, though it does charge (slowly) from PC, but it won't show charging indicators as not to get your hopes up

I find myself using their system to play a game for a half an hour, and if I like it, I go to steam and buy it.

from the iPad apps I coudlnt' find out how to actually purchase or use their system at all

I was kinda daydreaming or whatnot that Steam would buy OnLive and then we'd get the best of the two worlds. Or summat.

@James No, I was mostly right, but the people from the first round getting it automatically don't seem to affect the new people much.

It seems to me the power of OnLive would be to get high quality graphics streamed to your tablet/whatever and play with their controller, so you get the nice display and nice control with a device that's not normally capable of either

ah, I stopped getting UMDs and went all digital after a while. WishI had 'em all on digital now. I wish they made it so UMD purchases were redeemable on PSN. It's really not such a big deal if a user payed full retail price for it...

but publishers are too tied to old media distrobution models and users don't demand the better UX that's availible with a digital model or a digital + hard copy model
