I just noticed that GoG is repeating its daily sales from previous days rather than having new ones.

Granted, today's sales are for some of Sierra's better adventure games.

I don't know where our how to ask this on Stack Exchange so here goes.

We have a PS3 with white red and yellow cables. We have a TV with red white red green blue socket. We don't have any adaptor.

Short of a HDMI cable purchase, are we fucked?

@BenBrocka There were a few times where it was dark enough behind the TV that I got the blue and green cables confused, since the Xbox's component cable just had the coloured rings at the end of the grey connector.

So much rage.

Also was steam time tracking a recent thing or did they lose a bunch of old data or both? A bunch of older games I have report no time or extremely reduced time compared to my assumptions

I swear I've seen it lose time from after it started reporting it though...maybe it's just more accurate now

@BenBrocka I think HDCP is enabled on PS3 (but not on many other devices) given that it can play bluray discs.

I don't think the xbox 360 uses HDCP, for instance.

Yeah PS3 has HDCP. I learned about it because my elgato game capture HD can't do HDCP

So it ships with special component cables which feed into the capture device and it then ouputs via HDMI to the TV

I've considered getting one of those, but I'm kind of waiting to see what the next gen consoles require/use, and getting whatever works with that.

@agent86 I'm be extremely surprised if it weren't HDMI in the current days. I'd love to see higher resolution consoles but I don't think it'll happen yet

With any luck the next gen PS/Xbox will allow video/still captures right on the device...but I wouldn't hold your breath
