Upgrading to the next level of speeder (level 25, 40, then 50) increases the speed while riding 10% at a time. 90%, 100%, 110%.

@Mana The very first monster, if you melee him with your bare hands you rip out his eye. You can then throw it at a barely-visible shotgun on a far-off rooftop. Which makes it fly over to you on your roof.
