I noticed today that the Gaming.SE Blog seems to have staged a coup, overthrew, and finally usurped the Chat from its position along the page header. Q: Name of old DOS space game

You fly around in space like in the Descent series. In a ship. Very old style polygon graphics but in 3D. You fly around and explore space and sometimes strange maps. Don't remember there being any fighting in it. There was a level that had a giant house on a street complete with furniture inside...

Schools in the Netherlands offer English, German and French. English is mandatory for everyone, and in the highest level either German or French is also mandatory.

Because 99% of my time is spent using English I constantly think in English, so when I talk or type Dutch, I put English words in there, which I have to correct. Makes me slower in Dutch.

This is great, I got to a FAQ to try to figure out which Pirate Data scan I'm missing in Metroid Prime, only to find out that the list of Pirate Data I've discovered, despite having the same count, have names that don't quite match.

In fact, there are two Pirate Data dealing with the final boss, and despite having discovered all but 1 scan, I don't have either of them.

Q: Game Boy Advance SP Light Replacement?

I found a Game Boy Advance SP (Model AGS-001) at a garage sale for $1- woohoo! Unfortunately the frontlight does not work. The light button clicks, but the light itself does not turn on. Seems like maybe the bulb went out. Is this repairable? If so, how hard would it be to fix? Thanks!

I guess they changed it to make the last boss more of a surprise.

Now comes the fun part: Figuring out which missile tanks (x8) and Power Bomb Tanks (x2?) I'm missing.

Pretty sure I have all the energy tanks, though.
