room topic changed to The Suspension Bridge: of Gaming's StackExchange™ AlienOverlord AskQuestion™ mothership, wherein we're charging our lazers Grace will fire in the nyarragabaldic attempt to reject Grace and replace him with our own choice of moderators in the undergoing, new StackExchange™ PeopleEmpowering Elections-O-Matic testing initiative. Don't mind Gnomeslice's digging, as it is not part of this test. [keep-calm-carry-on] [needs-more-mana] [quoth-the-raven]

VERY GENERALLY SPEAKING, you vote for your first choice. If your first choice doesn't need your vote to win (or if they have no chance of winning), your vote is moved to your second choice.
I planned to play TF2; this site talked me out of it. Specifically this blog post, which made it sound like 1) TF2 is really hard, 2) your team will hate you if you're not amazing
@MichaelMrozek TF2 really isn't that hard. Engineer is arguably the hardest class to play now, since everyone else got new toys that made it easier to kill engineer stuff.
recently a player named "Blizzardi" whisperd me saying that i got some security problems with my account and if i don't to this page (www.warcraft.net.in => this site was banned for swindlery by someone else who got hacked in the past days.) my account will be banned forever. there was a [GM] tag...
Being a bad: Sniper, likely your team will yell at you. Spy, likely your team will yell at you. Engineer, likely your team will yell at you. Medic, your team will just be glad they have a Medic (most of the time). The rest, they generally won't care (except a few people... you know, of THAT type)
But yeah, if you do try TF2, you may want to scroll through your classes weapons once. For example, the Medic has a needlegun as primary, healing beam as secondary, and saw as melee. Healing beam has a secondary function (default: right-click) when its meter is at 100%... it makes you and the person you're healing invulnerable for... 8 seconds, I think.
Elections have always augmented so far, but I don't think any SE sites have had more elections just because time's passed; they've all been because a new mod was needed
@MichaelMrozek. If you want to start playing TF2 start as a medic. Just aim at a teammate (the fat ones are the best) and hold the left mouse button down to heal him. Follow him around and see what goes on around you. This fills a bar in the bottom right hand corner. When it hits 100%, you can right click to get you and your heal buddy invulnerability for 8 seconds.
Oh, @MichaelMrozek, you'll also see that some people have a white balloon with a + sign in it. They're players calling for a medic with E. The redder the baloon the dead-er they are. Just so you know.
@Manaಠдಠ I mean Facebook and Google just beg to get a proper Web Apps subdomain and real users asking questions, rather than the lost web devs that frequent it now
Still, people on HN are saying that what Facebook really needs is a solid wiki documenting the API without falling out of date, more so than a Q/A programming website.
@Manaಠдಠ Well one thing is though, that Facebook should maintain its own wiki and not have the developers do it for them. SO doing their Q&A is more like the Facebook telling the devs its best to organize themselves on SO
I told Jeff last year they should try to convince Google to let Web Apps be the official Q&A site for all their Chrome Webstore apps. Or at least make it one of the easy access points
