You might close off some smaller sidequests, but the folks necessary for the main story (for instance) have a tendency to be "incapacitated" from "killing" blows.

@RonanForman You made a certificate as part of the setup process. You registered on the server with it. You uninstalled or changed computers without carrying the certificate and made a new one. You are trying to use your old nick with your new certificate. No can do.
The easiest solution is @MarcoCeppi deletes your account.
When you install Mumble for the first time, a certificated was created for you. That is your "password." You should've saved it somewhere safe, and reimported it when reinstalling Mumble. You didn't.

@badp I was able to get onto the server fine yesterday. I heard Ronan was having issues, so I went on and exported my certificate so I would have a copy just in case. After that, I couldn't log on.
Mumble apparently also lets you use password, but I don't know how that works. I guess it'd be silly to ask for a password if there's no password that can be set.
For example, I have a signed certificate for personal identification. If I ever lose it, I can simply generate another one with the same email and Mumble will recognise me.
