I take my "more modern theme" comments back

it's only the top header and footer that has the super retro theme really. the sidebar is more modern. and the main content area (if you block out the header/sidebar/footer) is just a very simple, modern page.

so CSS-S-S starts today! as i said before, the CSS guy in me hates the designer in me.

Typography.se feels too narrow to take off.

actually typography is huge, since it applies to all medias, and has a rich history. but i just don't think enough designers(at least prominent ones) know about Area51 to boost it.

I think I'm in love with the computer labs at my university's computing facility

they have so many computers running Debian, and they run really fast, and it's easy to write code on them, and the keyboards are nice, and the monitors are a good size
