I recently bought a waterpump for my brother's car
It came with a paper gasket
It looks as if it is made of cardboard
I'm not sure how should I install the gasket. Should I install it dry?
Should I apply RTV Silicone on the gasket before installing it on the car?
I prefer not to use RTV but I'm not sure if it is necessary or not.
My own car had sort of a metal gasket with rubber lining.
I installed it bone dry and it sealed perfectly but this one doesn't have any rubber.
What is your recommendation?
