@Martin - Which type of tool has more strength? CR-V (Chrome Vanadium) or those tools that are black colour! I don't know what they are made of! They are just black.

@Martin - Thanks for your answer to my question in the site. I bought a CR-V chrome coated 22 mm socket for tightening and loosening my crankshaft pulley bolt with hand tools. The required torque for the pulley is 130 nm. Did I buy the wrong socket for the application? I used it twice without any problem.

@Martin track days where you get to drive other people's expensive cars are always fun. I've killed a gearbox and a wheel bearing :-)

@Martin - I have a friend who lives in Austria but often travels to Italy with his own car. He told me that you see lots of Fiats out there. Panda, 500, etc.

Mostly diesel cars.

@Martin I mostly see a car as the journey in itself. I know I have to get somewhere so I want to enjoy the journey as much as possible

@NarimanAsgharian Diesel cars are quite popular. The fuel is cheaper than petrol and the mileage is good.

@Martin very true. I am lucky that my eldest 2 are now adults, and youngest is almost at driving age (so we have been getting her off road and karting training to get her ready)

I too spent a number of years just focusing on the kids and work

@RoryAlsop There are those precious moments when we make a bonfire in the garden (being in the country has it advantages) and roast some chestnuts or sausages. That's a moment when all the kids become calm.

@RoryAlsop You are indeed lucky. I once put by oldest on some kids go-kart track. He did well for his first time..

@Martin I think mine are upset I didn't put them on the track more when they were 6. So they could have grown up like Lewis Hamilton :-)
