Guys, regarding the ulez which is being extended to Greater London in October then further beyond after that. Besides an engine swap or paying the charge or relocating, can u think of any other way(even a scam lol) with which to work around it?

@Pᴀᴜʟsᴛᴇʀ2 - I think that way too. I don't want to work on people's cars, I only enjoy working on my own cars (which are always clean and tidy under the bonnet). Being an everyday mechanic will wear out the body in no time. It is really hard work but doing it occasionally as a hobby doesn't do any harm.

@Martin - You have taken a nice approach too.

@Martin - Is it true that there is oil inside some rubber upper motor mounts?

Have you ever cut into the rubber to see what's inside?!

@NarimanAsgharian Don' know about your model, but it happens. That is called a "hydro bearing". The oil inside dampens the vibrations. I once destroyed one while replacing one on a control arm. Made a little mess

@NarimanAsgharian They work on the same principles as oil filled shock absorbers: There are two chambers, connected by a small nozzle-like passage.

The oil flow through the nozzle dampens the movement

@Martin - I got it! Like adjustable shock absorbers which narrow the passage for sportier suspension setting (to stiffen things up).

Is it possible to reduce coolant voltage to almost zero by adding a ground strap that connects radiator to chassis?

Car manufacturers have set 0.3 volt as the maximum coolant voltage. My car now has 0.13 volt (after 4 years of chaning my coolant).

Do you think adding a ground strap will reduce it to 0.05 Volt or lower?

@NarimanAsgharian We found out the brake pads were the wrong ones but in the right box. So we replaced them with the right pads and in the right box this time. Well we are having the same problem of lack of grabbing.

@NarimanAsgharian They still don't lock up in a hard brake situation. So we have the same problem still. Fluids have been flushed properly. When we took it in they said the flush was better than they have ever seen in 30 plus years. (From the guy who worked their and I talked to and had worked on my car) It is down to the master cylinder or the booster now.

The pads are the right ones, brake fluid is the right one used and lines are perfect, rotors are new and still far from worn out. New and right calipers. Taking it to the Hyundai dealer on monday and they will do a full inspection on it there.

@ScientistSmithYT - So, do you mean you had bought fake brake pads in something like an OEM box?

Vacuum leak can ruin brakes.

@NarimanAsgharian No, more so they were different brake pads in the right box. So wrong brake pads were shipped from the importer but mixed up and put in the right box. Booster hoses are good, no leaks. No vaccine leaks when the place checked them. And no residual pressure in the lines.
