@Pᴀᴜʟsᴛᴇʀ2 Oh I see! Another doubt, you'll later have to adjust the throttle cable to keep the throttle valve slightly open? Or does it let some air come in even when at rest? I noticed it wouldn't start if you didn't accelerate it a bit

It's a really good illustration of what we mean when we say "vacuum" when the throttle plate is closed! That poor engine is desperately trying to sip air past those plates! ;-)

@BobCross - No lie. That throttle body is really noisy ... I don't really mind the noise, but I think once the intake ducting is back in place, it will muffle it to a dull roar, which will be better.
@IanC - On the throttle body, there's a thing called an "Intake Air Control" valve. It is what lets air in so the engine can breath enough to run at idle. Right now, the engine still has the stock tune on it, which doesn't make the engine happy. It's still good enough to run the engine, but it is far from optimal.

@Pᴀᴜʟsᴛᴇʀ2 Thanks! So it's about tuning the engine now so it can idle with just the air admitted by the Intake Air Control valve?
