I’d probably guess suspension, riding with a broken suspension can damage other parts of the car because the shock absorbance won’t be efficient on that side
You should avoid using the car until you check the cause and fix it, I guess it would be ok to drive it to the shop if you go slowly and carefully
@Shalvenay Intuition tells me I'd look for a broken spring, if you have bad luck something more expensive is broken. Call a tow truck if you hear unusual noises or experience unusual behaviour as even a short ride to the shop could damage something.
How do you guys keep yourselfs from being victim of the sunk-cost dilemma? Like, when having a beater car, when you decide you should just sell it and cut losses? Or is it usually better to just invest on what you have already?
