@3Dave I'm not really sure either, I never got that far into tuning
@3Dave but Colorado was so beautiful, we camped up in the mountains away from civilization most of the week, that was nice

@Ceshion - Sweet!

@Ceshion glad you had fun. I was up there a few weeks ago for a car club thing. It was gorgeous. I'm considering moving somewhere else. We have only two seasons: too hot and too cold.

@Pᴀᴜʟsᴛᴇʀ2 the interview itself was six hours, but that includes 45 mins for lunch.

@3Dave - And so ... how do you felt it went? Did they try to wooo you over to their side? Or was it all technical "this is how you create an AI which will rule the world" stuff?

I got the new (to us) front bumper cover on the daughter's car today. There's still a couple of issues with it. There's a bracket missing on the driver's side just under the headlight. It leaves a gap, so affects the alignment of the grill up front, which drops it down about an inch below the hoodline. Argh.
Also went through and did what I could with getting the AC running. I'm just not sure if it's completely sealed. I replaced all of the o-rings I could get to. I stripped out the two bolts in the compressor where the pipes connect at, which meant I had to drill/tap/heli-coil them so they can seal the pipes. A lot of fun (not).
When I pulled a vacuum on the AC system, it was better after the new o-rings, condenser (used), and two pipes that came with the condenser, it was holding a lot better than it was before. Then I figured out, it might be my manifold gauges which were leaking ... argh. Although this isn't the proper way to do it, I drew what a vacuum I could on the system through the leaky equipment, then capped it off with the vacuum inside.
I then put some R134a with UV dye in it as the first can, let the system take it in, then filled up the rest of the system and let it run, and run, and run (about 30-45 minutes) with the AC on full blast. The system seemed to be holding about 30psi with the compressor on (low side). The temps from the duct in the car was about 38°F ... It kept it cold, so no worries there (the system works well). Now if it will maintain the charge, we'll be golden. If it doesn't, I'm hoping the UV dye will ...
... be present somewhere so I can figure out where it's leaking. I think I need to replace one of the fans. The bottom part of the shroud of at least one of them is broken. It's in an "okay" position right now where the fan isn't ratty-tatt-tatten off of the broken part, but it may come back to haunt me at some point.
