@Catija silver lining: the car at least still gets you from point A to point B despite the clobbering XD

@Shalvenay It does! My Outback was totaled out due to hail damage and it still irks me because it was otherwise perfectly usable and I liked the car a lot. It wasn't clear to me whether we could get them to a different scope of work that would allow fixing most of the dents without expecting all of them to be gone.

that might be a good question for the site even: "what are the consequences of leaving hail dents unrepaired?"
