@RoryAlsop - Not that it probably compares to India, but when I was in Saudi Arabia, they'd take the three lane highway and make six lanes out of it ... literally. Roundabouts in Riyadh were absolutely crazy. The only way I could drive there was to put on "virtual" blinders ... meaning, I'd just get tunnel vision and drive. Never got in an accident, but wasn't good on the nerves, lol

@Pᴀᴜʟsᴛᴇʀ2 I used to think Italy was a bit crazy - drivers there kinda go where they want and everyone fends for themselves. At least in India, everyone goes their own way, dodging each other, pedestrians, cows, and mostly they manage it. Too dodgy for me :-)

@RoryAlsop - Literally, lol!

@RoryAlsop tbh the only really crazy traffic I've seen in Italy is in Naples - and that seemed to be largely the plague of Vespas that would hurtle from and to every direction with seemingly no regard for anything else that might be in the way

@motosubatsu The centre of Milan terrified me :-)
And it wasn't even speeding Ferraris - it was speeding Fiats and other small town cars. And Vespas, obviously

@RoryAlsop the driver of the bus I took from Milan to the airport certainly had a.. cavalier attitude to things like the dimensions of his bus, wing mirrors were more.. range finders
still we made it to Bergamo alive and on time so I suppose I can't really judge him too harshly
