A: Opel Corsa: Speedometer (cable driven) and Speed Sensor issues

IanCI took a shot and bought another instruments cluster. They don't make new ones, or at least I didn't find a place to buy them, so I had to buy an used one. When it arrived and I had it installed, at first it seemed like I hadn't solved anything because the odometer and speedometer wasn't working ...

Not sure if the answer is a bit confusing, but I tried to write everything I did regarding this damned speed sensor problem, for future reference :)

So I drained my battery by accident yesterday, left the headlights on, only figured it out late at night, under the rain when I was supposed to go to work haha
Luckily I had my bike, I bought some jumper cables today and after some big effort I was able to start it, drove 30km and crossing my fingers it will start again tomorrow when I go surfing
Not sure I should go to work with it tonight, though it would be kinda good since it's raining, because it's like a 10 minute drive, I'm afraid it might not start again when I leave work tomorrow morning :/
