@Pᴀᴜʟsᴛᴇʀ2 of course. It's a very heavy bike, so if there is ice I'm not going to take it out. I have been out in -6°C which was lovely, but I chose routes that would not have any ice build up

@RoryAlsop - I had a friend here in Virginia who would ride his valkyrie year round. He'd ride that thing 100mph+ up I95 any time of year. He'd just put on warmer stuff for the winter months. We can easily get in the -°C's ... not that it happens a lot, but any is too much ;-) Yah, I figured you were careful, however, it doesn't stop me from throwing out the friendship warnings! :o)

Question for the team here. "What is the purpose/goal of mechanics.stackexchange.com ?" is there a clearly defined definition shared with the team? That is NOT clear from a perusal of mechanics.stackexchange.com/tour , mechanics.stackexchange.com/help , mechanics.stackexchange.com/help/on-topic
