@Pᴀᴜʟsᴛᴇʀ2 Here are the pictures from the trunk rubber seal replacement (it was leaking so I've done it before the doors):
1) After removing the damaged rubber, points of rust and even some heavy rust on the below part of the metal sheet (probably heavier because it's where the water drain through)
2) After sanding the heavier rust, I added some rust converter (here's where I made the first mistake: I didn't think the rust converter would be so aggressive to the non-rusted areas, I should've been very careful to apply it only on the rust but I ended up applying it over some undamaged areas as well)
3) After the rust converter was dry, I cleaned the area with a piece of cloth and painted it with black rust paint (which leads to mistake number 2: I should've sanded it again after the rust converter, since I'd discover only after applied that I painted over some peeling paint in some small areas. Tried to compensate it by having a thicker layer of the rust paint on those)
4) While installing the new rubber, some areas of the metal sheet where the rubber hooks had part of the paint removed, due to the pressure of the rubber. I'm not sure I could prevent it with more curing time. It was some hard work to fit the rubber as well as possible. I cut the excess rubber, hopefully close enough
I'm having to hit the trunk a bit hard to close it, probably because the rubber will still settle. Anyways, I'm a bit frustrated with this job. So many things going wrong one after another, I wanted to make a fine work and I didn't really managed to do it the way I wanted to. I just hope the metal is at least more protected than it was when I started it

@IanC Don't take it too hard. The next work will become better. You know: Wisdom comes from oopsies

@Martin You're right, guess the important is to keep trying to do stuff and learn, maybe the outcome wasn't as bad as I thought
Also, in a couple of months I could remove the rubber and see if there's corrosion under it again, and if there is redo the treatment without repeating the same mistakes :p
