1:17 AM
@3Dave - Happy Birthday Brother :o)

10 hours later…
11:04 AM
@Pᴀᴜʟsᴛᴇʀ2 Looks like something that MCM would do

4 hours later…
3:12 PM
@Pᴀᴜʟsᴛᴇʀ2 Thanks!

@Paramone - I wouldn't think that ... MCM makes cars better ... not sure this qualifies as better. Not sure if it even qualifies as a car at this point, lol.

2 hours later…
5:19 PM
@Pᴀᴜʟsᴛᴇʀ2 Just noticed that the GXP is a little low on coolant. I hoping it's just due to the autocross last Sunday. Time for a pressure test, I guess.
And of course I can't find my AirLift. I suspect I loaned it out and never got it back.

1 hour later…
6:43 PM
@Pᴀᴜʟsᴛᴇʀ2 I finally looked at that picture close-up. What a waste of a perfectly good Camaro. :( But I get the Cormaro craziness now.

@3Dave no lie

7:00 PM
@Pᴀᴜʟsᴛᴇʀ2 It's a shame that so many talented fabricators spend their time making that kind of thing. :/
@Pᴀᴜʟsᴛᴇʀ2 Message from the recruiter: apparently they fixed their whiteboard after I messed it up.
And I am now officially old, but it's a fun age: 9*6=42.

7:19 PM
@3Dave do you feel like you know any deep secrets of the universe you didn't before?

@Ceshion Well... there's an NDA. :D
Don't write on the boss's whiteboard with a permanent marker.
It's FB / Occculllluuusss. Neat people, seem smart. Nice office but not crazy-fancy. Seems like a good group.

8:21 PM
@3Dave - You consider that talent? You are making me wonder about you ...
@3Dave - That's also 6*9 ... if you remove the " * " what do you think you have?
;-)

@Pᴀᴜʟsᴛᴇʀ2 groan.

I've got you by 11 years, so I have no clue what you're complaining about ...

I'll die sooner.
At this rate.

@3Dave - I think since they called you back to tell you about cleaning up your "incident", that's a good sign (if you're still thinking about taking the job).

just real quick, if you're emailing police is it <greeting> officers or Officers?
I'm blanking rn

8:26 PM
@Pᴀᴜʟsᴛᴇʀ2 Yeah. Recruiter is pretty nice, but he's a recruiter.
@Ceshion Greetings.

@3Dave I meant do you capitalize officers or not, I'm blanking on whether that counts as a title or description basically
but also hi c:

@Ceshion if you're starting a letter, like "Greetings, Officers" then sure..
If you're referring to them in the third person like "The officers in question..." then no
it's a title and a ddescription
depends on context.
Like "Attorney", capitalize at the start of a sentence, vs "Attorney General" or "Attornies General" .... I get mixed up on these things, but I'd say use the same rule as for "doctor" - address (basically a proper noun, kind of) vs functional description.

Thanks! It's in the opening of a message, that's specifically what I was confused about

Shrug. YMMV.
I'd capitalize, then.
"Warden" is also capitalized, depending on your current living situation.
:D
@Ceshion There's always "To whom it may concern," but everyone hates that.
I totally missed the brackets on greeting.
My bad
And apparently it's "Attorneys General" vs "Attornies General." Dammit.
Me fail English? That's unpossible!
But the Officers thing is correct, I believe.

@3Dave 😂
it's a business email, not trying to bribe anyone into getting me out of anywhere or anything
Attorneys General just looks weird

8:42 PM
@3Dave - Isn't it "Attorney Generals"?
:o)
Well, it seems in the UK, anyway

8:57 PM
@Pᴀᴜʟsᴛᴇʀ2 Nope,
The title is Attorney General, but the plural is on attorney.
I was also surprised.
Shrug.
@Ceshion I agree. And glad to hear it.

Oh, nvm, that's what you meant.

Not like I assume you're a fellon.
@Pᴀᴜʟsᴛᴇʀ2 Yeah. I think they call them barristers over there... ask @RoryAlsop
Everytime I read that, I mentally hear "banister" instead. It's confusing. And noisy.
The voices in my head stutter. "K-k-k-kill your p--p" Write it down!
(Probably offensive to lots of people. Sorry, lots of people.)
or Lots of People. Lot of Peoples? Christ, @Ceshion.
I'm considering updating my profile pic to include a picture of Actual Me.

9:15 PM
@3Dave - Can you see a stutter in it? If not, don't bother ;)

@Pᴀᴜʟsᴛᴇʀ2 I hate you so much.
@Pᴀᴜʟsᴛᴇʀ2 :)
I'm not sure if I am way too insensitive to, over oversensitive to, everything these days. We're all paranoid about offending anyone, but for some weird reason - maybe because I'm unintentionally an asshole - that makes it difficult to have a conversation.

- There's an old saying:
It is a fool who is offended by someone who intentionally offends.
It is a greater fool who is offended by someone who does not intentionally offend.
Bottom line: Who's the bigger fool?

9:38 PM
@Pᴀᴜʟsᴛᴇʀ2 I'm not familiar with that one, but it's useful.
In other news: I've been writing "fullproof" instead of "foolproof" for decades.
Wasn't there a blog post about off-topic chat content awhile back...
And SO sucks these days.

9:56 PM
(StackOverflow)

10:12 PM
...and now I have to move from bar at really-great-and-cheap Italian Restaurant to get a pizza from Papa John's on the other side of town, basically. Really, only 10 miles away, but it's just after 5 here, so may as well be in Oklahoma.
Y'all have a good night.

10:56 PM
My official assessment as someone who is qualified to make this determination is that today is rated as: seized. OMG I am so tired!

@BobCross - Take a break. Swig a cold one. You earned it, oh mighty one.

11:55 PM
Thanks! Instruction received and executing!
