Here's another one: what happens if nobody is nominated?

@Ghanima The standard number of mods for a site is 3. As a site grows, if more mods are needed, then we would add more

@bluefeet given the lately discussed issue that we have quite few active high-rep users that could process numerous queues, the mods will carry some extra weight of the house keeping

since nobody would expect 3 mods to be available 24/7, it seems legit that more mods could share the load

however I have not heard the three mods complain as per today, so maybe this isn't an issue after all
