@M.A.R.ಠ_ಠ Lol, what, I don't think you contradicted as much as you added more details to your original plan. I feel the details are fine enough
@M.A.R.ಠ_ಠ Omg that got really messy too quick..why wouldn't you want to move that whole comment convo to chat

Q: How does equalizing voltage for lead acid battery depend on the temperature?

GreendrakeI am using advanced lead-carbon batteries (these ones) in an off-grid solar system. The spec specifies equalizing voltage 14.1 V for 12 V block @ 25 °C (77 °F). I keep the batteries in an outdoor shed, and the temperature where I live tends to hang around 0 °C (32 °F) these days. So, for lead ac...

@orthocresol Can you suggest a good book for inorganic chemistry at the undergraduate level? I saw the list put up in the answer "resources for learning chemistry" but I was not able to decide which one of them should I invest on

Q: Cause of continuous spectral lines

NightcoRohakWe know different types of atoms have different spectral lines. But what exactly are the spectral lines representing? What causes white light to have a continuous spectra while other atoms show discontinuous spectral lines?

@YUSUFHASAN go to a library or bookshop and see which one you like

@orthocresol I could, but I just wanted ur opinion and preferences.. what do you think about Housecroft's inorganic textbook?

3:44 PM
@Loong Yes, iirc on the SE Android app, unfortunately the SE staff is too busy to fix it :(

4:00 PM
hm

4:24 PM
@GaurangTandon No, they just dropped it.
The guy that worked on the Android app doesn't work for SE anymore.

Q: Why must polar molecules be asymetrical?

Žan SpehonjaAs I understand, polarity in molecules comes from the difference in electronegativity or the ability of the atoms to attract eletrons so the electrons spend more time or are more probable to gravitate more around the atom with stronger electronegativity right? So I wonder why polar molecules must...

Q: Axial Equatorial NMR graph difference

vik1245I wanted to ask a question about NMR for Axial and Equatorial molecules. I was asked to describe how to separate the following two product molecules from this reaction: and the answer that my colleague mentioned was NMR. He stated that for the product on the left, the $\ce{P}$ atoms were i...
