@Ϻ.Λ.Ʀ. "is even better" does not sound very poetic to me...

@Martin-マーチン Actually, it's informal but follows correct rhythmic rules.
You could come up with something good, but it has to have the same syllabic pattern as 'is even better'.

@Ϻ.Λ.Ʀ. "is more so Ohhhhhh" lol

Haha
@Mart \o

Haikus are awesome / Chemistry is much more so / Thus pull up a chair.

Q: How to ask questions that involve potentially controlled or dangerous substances?

Martin - マーチンRecently there was a flag on a question about the synthesis of an amphetamine. Last year there was a similar question about this topic: Scope of unsuitable questions to include security and hazardous flags In the comments we more or less concluded to treat these questions on a case by case basis...

The question was closed as 'too broad'. I don't think, this edit improves the situation: chemistry.stackexchange.com/review/suggested-edits/27789 rejected

A: Hardness and softness are terms used to describe which aspect of acidic behaviour?

kanchanaHard things are not flexible and they cant be scratched easily while soft things are flexible and can be scratched easily.

LOL

Jan
@Ϻ.Λ.Ʀ. No it doesn't. It's eight syllables.

@Jan Yes, the haiku should be 5/8/5/
@orthocresol Haha!

Jan
@Ϻ.Λ.Ʀ. No it shouldn't it should be 5/7/5. Go go go-shichi-go.
Go! Go! 575 (TV Series)
* Based on the Project 575 games for PlayStation Vita and iOS. The energetic http://anidb.net/ch61513 [Masaoka Azuki] convinces her much more level-headed best friend http://anidb.net/ch61514 [Kobayashi Matcha] to take part in a competition to create a haiku. Desperately wanting to be part of this close group, http://anidb.net/ch62206 [Yosano Yuzu] helps the girls to not only put the haiku on video, but also add music and a choreography. — written by foo2 Note: The original games allow anyone to create songs using the traditional Japanese 5-7-5-syllable meter found in haiku and tanka poems.

Dunno. Maybe I should arrange a fight between you and Snailboat.

Q: A "Bible" for molecular orbital theory?

DaleLinus Pauling wrote the famous "Nature of the Chemical Bond" which is a Bible of sorts for valence bond theory. However, VB theory was combined with crystal field theory to form molecular orbital theory, which eventually was condensed into the Hartree–Fock method. Are there any "Bible" type re...

Our quantum gurus @Wildkitty, @Mart, @Idon'tknowwhoelse; is that the correct historical way of deriving MO theory?
Haiku (俳句, listen ) (plural haiku) is a very short form of Japanese poetry. It is typically characterised by three qualities: The essence of haiku is "cutting" (kiru). This is often represented by the juxtaposition of two images or ideas and a kireji ("cutting word") between them, a kind of verbal punctuation mark which signals the moment of separation and colors the manner in which the juxtaposed elements are related. Traditional haiku consist of 17 on (also known as morae), in three phrases of 5, 7, and 5 on respectively. A kigo (seasonal reference), usually drawn from a saijiki, an extensive...

hey @Jan !

Jan
Hey @Tan!

@Jan question for you - If @Ϻ.Λ.Ʀ. was leading the TRE last time, would you help and listen to him?

Jan
@TanMath Nope, I was busy even if I didn't sound it.

@Jan oh.. Because I felt really bad that nobody listened to me...i tried to help, and all of you were like "there is no point"...

Jan
9:26 PM
Yeah, but also I'm not sure … you did self-proclaim your leadership, at least I saw no clue anywhere of @ina giving it to you and telling you what to do, so I found it hard to judge whether it would've done more good or more bad if I had had time. I mean, @ina and Mart are our masterminds behind the event so I'm always more inclined to listen to them than to anybody else … ^^'
A~nd I've gotta go. Good night! o/

@Jan I did because nobody was there to take leadership.. I felt i had at least some sort of idea of how TRE works, so I thought i might be a half-decent leader... oh well!
