In this answer, Philip Kendall speaks unfavourably about 5 day limit to accept job offer. I was under impression 5 days is more or less standard expiration period for the offer. Is it not?

@J.Doe I've seen (or heard of) offers lasting anywhere from 2-3 business days all the way to 3 weeks.
