That's my new "favorite" business-ism. It displaced "Ask" being a noun, as in "The ask is that we complete it by EOY"

@ChrisE Been back to work since September. My doctors can't figure it out. I had sevedre aphasia and paralyzed on my right side. The only lasting effects are a small blind spot in my left eye, the occasional spoonerism, and a slightly clumsy right hand. Other than that, I'm back to normal

I'm very glad to hear it. That really sucks but your recovery is remarkable. Strokes are so "mysterious" sometimes. No 2 are ever the same.
