@motosubatsu it is more about ruptation at home and at work
I think I lost at both places. so why not focus on getting me better
and good morning
I think I wanna restart my career, the gap has been so immense. the things I was good at once I m worse at now

you know what's great for your work-reputation? keeping a job for more than 5 minutes. And if your home-reputation has suffered as you suggest from your lack of steady employment and subsequent impaired ability to provide for the family? I'm sure you can guess what I might suggest for improving that.
hey @PlayerOne how's tricks?

10:20 AM
@motosubatsu All good, yourself?

@PlayerOne can't complain :) near-enough halfway through the week

10:49 AM
@motosubatsu yea make sense. I got email from my manager this morning saying, he need to discuss about my flexible hours, as I had to give my son drop n pick up
as he think it is not viable for the team n asked me how long will it go on,
I replied him, saying there has been a lot issue on my on boarding, from enviorment not being ready in 2 months and no one was able to give me a demo of codebase to me being sick and now my son drop off and pick up.
because 2 weeks back the covid shielf felt on my wife head n she isnt well since
so let see

@motosubatsu just came out of meeting with a senior software dev. he mentioned they shouldnt give u such a huge task given u dont know .net and c#
and expect u to do it, he recommended me to go to my manager n tell him, this isn't ur field, u shld be given other tasks
the company dont have other tasks as discussed in meetings over last few weeks
that is the reason I fear they will get rid of me

@localhost what on earth do the issues with your on-boarding and the environment have to do with the straightforward question regarding how long you'll need to continue performing pick up/drop offs for your son?
@localhost I assume your manager is already aware that you aren't experienced in .NET if so where's the problem?

@motosubatsu the problem is while I can do more things better they dont have it and I had been learning .net for over a week now, now the task is shelved
the problem is think if job is stable enough for me sacrifice my learning opp
I had uni on manchester called me for asst. teacher but didnt progress ciz I didnt know sql, react which they said if u give time we will come back to u
and the course do give me that me and more

3:47 PM
I will summarize the problem, given my previous experience and getting booted within probation and/or extending but still failing coz I do not have what it takes in front end world as skillset. I fear if I say no to scholarship and things doesnt work here too, I will blow my chance to overcome my weakness
