@Kilisi RTW was my go-to favourite for about a decade. Up until I found Factorio :)
Big advantage of enjoying older games for the gameplay/strategy is you never need to worry about the graphics ^^

@Kaz Factorio looks cool, but my boys are more into battling than building. but you're right, old games sometimes have more replay value as well.
and the computer is offline so that constrains things as well

Hey so I would like to share some research I'm doing about how to find a meaningful career, and was thinking workplace might be a good place to do it. I would post questions like, "How can I best help others as a software engineer?" and then answer with various prosocial job boards and stuff like that.

Is workplace a good place for that kind of knowledge sharing? I think the answers I (and hopefully others) would post could be pretty broad, with no right or best answer.

If workplace is a good place to share this info, should I mark my answers as "community wiki"? I'm happy if others want
I could also post this info on Quora or something but have always liked stack exchange websites, and these questions fall within the workplace sort of domain. I just also wonder if they are too general, because I know on Stack Overflow the question will be closed if it's too broad. Or at least I think that's how it works.
Ok I read a bit about subjectivity in questions via stackoverflow.blog/2010/09/29/good-subjective-bad-subjective and I think I can phrase the questions in a way which asks for evidence, so should be okay.

Ok so I created a question / answer here: https://workplace.stackexchange.com/questions/173615/how-can-i-decide-which-career-path-is-most-helpful-to-society-and-others/173616#173616

Can someone take a look at tell me if this kind of question is appropriate for the site? I tried to just stick to facts as much as possible.
ok well now it's just getting downvoted haha
So I guess my question is not a good fit?

@Max I closed it, the answer looks like spam, and the question is way too broad.
The Workplace isn't really the place for those sort of question/answer combo's
