@NikeDattani he doesn't have anything to say, just trying to fill space and get some clicks I guess, good luck to him. You can go anywhere on the internet and find crap to pick over. He didn't pick a fair choice of the sorts of questions we get, just a couple that were probably trolls.
@NikeDattani What a clown. The funny thing is I remember a few of them, and how hard they got roasted in the answers, and he's acting like he's the only one who's wise to these antics;
@Neo I would trust snow, I would trust Joe, moto, Lillenthal, and you of course. Kilisi too, but he'll never run, and I will never run again, so that leaves us with very few options. But I see interest declining.
So I had a career fair - I attended a group presentation by the Consumer Prices Division of Statistics Canada. Later that day, I attended a one-on-one session with one person (say Barry) from the same division. I later realized they were from a different team within that division.
Last Friday I got an email from the unit head (say John, whom I met in the group session) who wanted to know if I would be interested in an interview. I said yes. John didn't get back to me yet. Now someone else emailed me from the same division asking if I want to interview. This person, Jane, mentioned that she got my CV from a colleague who met me in the career fair.
I am saying yes to the interview for sure. But I am wondering if I should tell Jane that John has asked me for an interview ... They are both from the same division, but may be from different teams. I mean I am not sure if it was Barry or John who forwarded my resume to Jane ...
@AIQ Reach out to John, and tell him that Jane contacted you. Ask him if he was the one who handed off your CV to Jane. Tell him that you don't want to go behind his back, since he contacted you first, and ask him what you should do about being approached by Jane.
@Old_Lamplighter Okay so I have emailed John. Thanks!! But their offices close in an hour or so ... I don't think John will get back to me in an hour. Which means I have to wait to reply to Jane until tomorrow ... I wonder if that will hurt my chances ...
