Good morning to you. How is moderatorship settling in now?

@Snow it's good overall. Had some tension last week with a high rep user that we had to ban because they were on a series of poor reviews, and they got very offended. Defusing wasn't easy, but I think we succeeded in hearing both parts. As for the rest, well... most of the time there's not much to do, as IPS tends to let a lot of the mod stuff to the community. And since my actions are now binding, I'm almost doing less than before... :p

Yeah. A lot of it is just doing what you do already and handling flags. Dealing with users can be challenging sometimes, especially when you want them to do more of what they're good at.

@Twyxz no.. I don't disagree that it's a great looking car (although the seats are hideous) but it's £300k IIRC - for a 488 with a body kit

@Twyxz I think you can get the SVR body kit without any performance upgrades but the original Custom Bespoke car was tuned somewhat - high 700s IIRC

You might aswell get the tuned upgrades

although if a performance 488 is what you're after it's hard to look beyond the Pista edition

I've seen a lotta i8's recently too, not as impressive but the butterfly doors are kinda cool

Are there issues with them or something? How do they depreciate so much within 2-3 years? The battery?

I'd imagine the battery is the reason for the depreciation - not sure how much that translates into real world problems though

a mate of mine drives one but we haven't caught up in a spell

@Twyxz it's probably more of a perception issue than a real one - IIRC BMW warranty the batteries for 8 years

Pet Peeve of today: When someone posting a Q writes "A good answer should include X, Y, and..."

If you are posting here is because you don't know the answer! You can't tell users how to answer and what to include in their post... most likely OP asking has no clue what to do and the answers may well be "don't foo the bar"... when OP is demanding "a good answer should say how to foo the bar"...
