I am planning to get a job in a foreign aerospace company. It is so atypical and unusual for me, it seems complicated and long, potentially life-changing. But this is the way to achieve my goals.

Therefore, just one stage of submitting a resume, a cover letter and communicating with the employer already makes me worried and nervous.

At the same time, I understand very well that the risk of employer refusal is quite high. But I'm not going to give up.

My questions are:

What is the strategy for communicating with a potential employer in the event of a rejection?

@dtn It largely depends on what sort of rejection you get - if it's "we'll keep you in mind" type of rejection then it's probably fine to re-apply whenever another suitable opening comes up. If it's a firmer "you aren't up to what we need in terms of skills/experience" then you probably need to wait until you have a material change in those before re-applying
I would be very wary of focussing exclusively on this company, developing tunnel vision rarely works out well, there's more than one employer out there for you

@motosubatsu You are right, I will consider alternative options
@motosubatsu Is it possible to acquire the skills that the company needs within the company itself as part of some kind of internship or vacancy position with a minimum wage and the simplest responsibilities?

@dtn sometimes.. but that's going to be dependent on whether the company is geared towards going that.

@motosubatsu Okay, I will find out from employers if they have such opportunities. Is this the standard path? Search, gaining experience, then a new attempt? Although sometimes it is possible to get to the right place at once, if luck favors.

@motosubatsu went fine. Today it’s traumatic as I been abused as child so all memory came back

@localhost I don't mean to sound insensitive but if the training is bringing up traumatic memories for you, are you sure this is a good idea?

@motosubatsu avoiding the training would only be a temporary fix
