howdy, long time no type

@JoeStrazzere @Old_Lamplighter @motosubatsu @Kilisi @Lilienthal thanks for the advice
@ChrisE how's it going?

I'm still working at the same place after 2 years so pretty great. That's almost a record lol
In a meeting right now listening to buzzwords. I actually heard someone refer to needing to increase skills for a particular domain as "Learnings". The Learnings include...
My eyes rolled, right outa my head

@ChrisE I'm not sure whether I'd laugh, cry, or just die a little inside at that. Heck, I'd probably just do all three

That's my new "favorite" business-ism. It displaced "Ask" being a noun, as in "The ask is that we complete it by EOY"

@ChrisE Hey man, life is interesting. I had a stroke back in May, but nothing much other than that

omg, how are you doing?

@ChrisE Been back to work since September. My doctors can't figure it out. I had sevedre aphasia and paralyzed on my right side. The only lasting effects are a small blind spot in my left eye, the occasional spoonerism, and a slightly clumsy right hand. Other than that, I'm back to normal

I'm very glad to hear it. That really sucks but your recovery is remarkable. Strokes are so "mysterious" sometimes. No 2 are ever the same.

3:53 PM
As they say, only the good die young

which is why I'm still here.
March sucked for me too. My daughter (35) OD'd. She was very good.

@ChrisE sorry to hear that :(

Thanks. Worst thing ever. On the bright side, I found out last week that My first wife's 3rd daughter is actually mine. So that's good news.
My life is just a bouquet short of a Jerry Springer episode

@ChrisE we could get someone to throw a chair across the stage, y'know just to complete the ambiance?

ooh, there we go!
Channel Geraldo

4:04 PM
JER-REY! JER-REY! JER-REY! JER-REY! JER-REY! JER-REY! JER-REY! JER-REY! JER-REY! JER-REY!

@ChrisE sounds like we both overpaid the tuition of the school of hard knocks\

No kidding!
