Do the hats stay after Christmas too?
Look at that

7:58 AM
Yes, they stay until shortly after the new year.
So I got to work this morning to find that I have dried dog slobber on my trousers. That's my fault for dressing in the dark.

8:48 AM
So the hats aren't forever? :(

Sadly no. But there's nothing to stop you from taking a screen snip of your avatar and uploading it.

9:10 AM
But then I have to change my picture instead of my hat :(

Frustrating work-related (off-site) post (first update):
A manager defending a policy where all employees get their birthday off
Except their one (hard working) employee who was born on leap-year day, Feb 29th. She won't get another day off until 2020.
Nor does she get the nice birthday gift card all the other employees get.
> Morale is high at the firm. Turnover among employees is low. Many people want to work here. Aside from this one issue she is a good worker and would be given an excellent reference if she decides to look elsewhere in the future.
The "one issue" with this otherwise good employee is her complaining ever year how unfair this policy is
:P
Could be a troll, I suppose, but doesn't seem impossibly that someone would very very rigidly adhere to a poorly written policy missing this (obvious once pointed out) loophole
> I want to tell her that she should be focusing on work issues and not something as small as a birthday. If she had a complaint about a work issue it would be different. How do I frame my discussion with her without making her feel bad or like she is trouble? Her work is good and I am sure the complaint is just borne of inexperience and I don’t want to penalize her for it.
