I liked that line

I'm not an unequivocal fan of Douglas Adams, but his lines in Tom Baker's mouth just tend to become magical.

From an interview with Baker:

To minimise that kind of dissonance, whatever image I use for my avatar, I turn it sepia.

Winter Bash is the best time for avatar switching.

Last year's Winter Bash was when I changed to an actual picture rather than just the auto-generated pattern.
