2:16 AM
@James 8:30 EST or CST?

14 hours later…
4:31 PM
@Green yo how are ya doing? How's the chocolate?

4:49 PM
@dot_Sp0T it's going well and the chocolate is excellent! How's your Taza?

I gotta admit I still haven't gotten to it; wanted to save it up for my mothers birthday and then I just forgot - i hope it's still good

@dot_Sp0T it should be.

5:36 PM
@dot_Sp0T what times usually work best for you to get in on a recording of Infinite Typewriters? Nex is lost to the world of WB (for an indefinite period while handles real life stuff).

Real life stuff is so annoying, isn't it.

@Gryphon When it isn't awesome, I totally agree.

Can't wait for the next episode of Infinite Typewriters, btw. Looks like an interesting world (and an awesome volcano).

@Green oh dear. uhm. You folks are some 6-9 hours behind my time iirc. So most important would be to plan in advance so I can pre-sleep

@Gryphon that's actually really encouraging to hear that someone likes it. Very encouraging. Episode 3 should be up in the next day or so....as soon as I can finish mastering the audio.

5:50 PM
I also need a list of words I am not allowed to say

@dot_Sp0T We're usually GMT-5 or -6.
@dot_Sp0T We try to keep it a family friendly show.
We could probably plan something where you're in the afternoon/evening and we do the morning....wait, wait. That probably won't work because James and Andy have families that want time with them. Mornings for them is gonna be really tricky.

@Green I know that mornings are off, so I just need to know it a few days in advance to shift my sleeping cycle
I'm a student after all

@dot_Sp0T I'm impressed that you can do that. I generally pay a price (not huge) when I get up super early.

@Green it's less getting up super early and more sleeping in super late
so I'll keep me going the day before till around 0600-0700, then some 6-7h sleep

Hmmmmm. Gentlemen? Would a blog post on the Cuban Missile War's references from our timeline be good?

5:55 PM
@James I found the tectonics map. I'll upload it when I upload episode 3.

@FutureHistorian Monica Cellio would be the one to ask, but I'm sure it'd be great. You'll have to make a Medium account, if you don't have one already, and then get her to add you as a writer.

I already have one.
Remember Konets?
What was supposed to be a sneak peek of the 1973: Al-Qaiyama novel?

@FutureHistorian Ah, I'd forgotten that was you. Sorry.

So, here is the idea.
I need to find a way to introduce some detailed information on the Cuban Missile War's situation prior to the point of divergence.

3rd person Omniscient viewpoint, and just tell them?

6:08 PM
I know that.
But I meant as in: I want to introduce the research from OUR timeline as well.
At least as a means to start the work on the "What If?" aspect.

Oh.

No wait.
Soviet submarine B-59 (Russian: Б-59) was a Project 641 or Foxtrot-class diesel-electric submarine of the Soviet Navy. It played a key role in the Cuban Missile Crisis, when senior officers – believing they were under attack – considered launching a T-5 nuclear torpedo. This submarine is currently open to the public and is part of the San Diego Maritime Museum in San Diego, California. == Background == On October 1, 1962, the Project 641 [Foxtrot] diesel-electric submarine B-59, as the flagship of a detachment with its sister ships B-36, B-4 and B-130, sailed from its base on the Kola Peninsula...
See this submarine?

6:44 PM
@Gryphon? So, from what I posted in the other chat, anything I could use to provide context for the research in our timeline?
Before I begin the series for the Cuban Missile War?

7:35 PM
@Green so are you folks more into weekdays or weekends?

7:55 PM
@dot_Sp0T It kind of depends on what James and Andy can swing. We've done weekends and weekdays.

2 hours later…
9:50 PM
Hey, @MonicaCellio, what would you recommend as the maximum number of parts to split a story into? Because my third part of Golden Sails is already getting pretty lengthy, and will probably end up being about twice as long as it is now, so I wouldn't mind cutting it into two, which would make four parts. What would you recommend?
Additionally, splitting it in two would create a nice cliffhanger.
