It bothers me that "astrology" is a more popular tag on Medium than "astronomy".

@HDE226868 Doesn't surprise me. Aside from the stuff that we post, I've found medium to be a huge waste of time

I unsubscribed from the newsletter when they couldn't suggest a story I'd want to read in 2 weeks, no matter how many times I tried to tune it.

@AndyD273 There are a couple of gems of publications there, and some good standalone stuff. In some areas, it's a bit . . . lacking.

@HDE226868 I believe you, our blog is on there for instance, but their newsletter, which I was supposed to be able to customize with my interests, just kept giving me the same crap day after day. Finally decided that it was a lost cause

@AndyD273 I share your beef with their recommendations, both in the newsletter and on the site itself (the "based on your reading history" bits).
