@user334283 Try adding some more information. Show us the contents of the directory you are running make in. It looks like you're just in the wrong place.
More importantly, as I said before, I don't think this is the right solution to your issue, It might, or it might not be. What makes you so sure installing these drivers will help?
Oh, and as a general rule, you don't want to run make with sudo. Only make install needs that. Which, frankly, makes me wonder why you're using Kali in the first place. Why not use a normal distribution?
@user334283 in general it's better to ask a question explaining the basic problem you're trying to solve, and explain what you've done so far — your real question here is "how do I get wifi working".
Finally, @user334283. I suggest you start your question from the beginning. Explain what the issue with your interface is. You are starting by explaining the solution you think you need, but that might be wrong. This is a typical XY problem.

You asked yesterday about make defconfig-wifi, and I think that may only work after 'make defconfig' - so the article you went to is not complete, or has built-in assumptions (such as had already done that part, and did nto realize it is a prereq to everything else)

Hey there, would any of you know how to make exo-open open a terminal and automatically run a specific command? I am attempting to create a custom action on Thunar which automatically runs atom in a terminal, as some functionalities are lost if atom is not opened through the terminal. Currently to run a terminal, I have "exo-open --working-directory %f --launch TerminalEmulator" . I can't seem to find an option to let me automatically add a command to this, is it possible>

@JeffSchaller I think you can, actually. It must store a cookie somewhere. Another option is to actually post the answer, then delete it, and then edit at your leisure.
most importantly for me: You only get one draft for an answer and one for a question. (If you start a new post, the old draft is cleared.) Drafts will be automatically cleared after a week.
@terdon I'm (slowly) learning that most of my "what's this weird thing on stackexchange?" questions already have an answer buried on one of the meta's somewhere (here, main, or meta.SO)
