I think this room could be also useful to discuss reopening, just like it goes in similar room at SO ("CV reviewers")

1 hour later…
4:57 AM
@gnat I just became a room owner in CV reviewers today

6 hours later…

help roomba - invest today, get cleaner site tomorrow: this, this, this, this, this, this

@gnat I have a few cvs left i think

user41796
@gnat All should be at zero at this point

@GlenH7 thanks! @durron597 this time, I had only stuff for roomba :)

@gnat I should have roomba stuff if you want it

10:42 PM
@GlenH7 Why was this modified by Community 16 minutes ago?

@durron597 thanks! most is gone indeed, and some are locked rejected migrations but some are roomba-worthy questions

@gnat I knew many were gone, I was waiting for Sunday to look at it again

@durron597 Communty was likely triggered by recent vote: programmers.stackexchange.com/posts/279325/timeline

@gnat But what was the modification?
@gnat Ooh I have something you might like, one sec
nice!

10:50 PM
go to a post, type "ctrl+shift+a", type in close reason, that message appears here automatically.

Also, the cv-pls link in the post menu does the same thing.

@TinyGiant can you edit that to include the words "userscript (tampermonkey)"

tampermonkey is irrelevant will work in greasemonkey as well

@TinyGiant true
There was a time when these could be added to chrome directly. Sigh.
ah but maybe I can add chat extensions back!!

Yeah, I hate that chrome disabled native support for userscripts

10:56 PM
@TinyGiant wooot
@TinyGiant I am replying to you with a keyboard shortcut again

Cool

no more mousing to reply

That's cool
I updated the userscript with some usage information.
Now on both.

@durron597 Community may trigger without modifications, by votes / views, or if memory serves even completely randomly

@gnat Weird.

11:06 PM
@durron597 not quite. On smaller sites / slow SO tags, it's rather fair

I thought that was community's way of poking old unanswered questions

@TinyGiant yes, this too. And some stuff besides this. AI
sort of opposite to AI that pushes stuff into SO Triage. Worthy of attention / worthy of hiding

Yeah

that's all I could find out there for roomba, some require two votes (the rest looks worth keeping): this, this, this, this, this, this, ...

11:33 PM
@gnat I downvoted all the unlocked ones.

@durron597 thanks! As for some locked stuff slipping in it means I wasn't attentive enough. I tried to focus on whether content is worth keeping or not, and that wasn't easy, and I missed some simpler stuff like lock banners

@gnat No worries, I think there was only one.

does anyone know a good CV reason programmers.stackexchange.com/q/293752/52929

library recommendations are explicitly off-topic per help center (it's the same here as at Stack Overflow). See meta.programmers.stackexchange.com/questions/6483/…gnat 1 min ago
easy: "Does anyone know if there is a good lib that blah blah"

it's also one of the standard off-topic reasons

11:46 PM
@Ixrec that's the one I picked, comment merely explains that it's there, standard, in help center

not that the person who is posting will care 1 bit about what they should do. lol

@enderland in fact, I started writing these comments after I saw Nth time whining on meta that Programmers closes are hard to grok. Some time later I noticed that whining like that just doesn't pop up anymore. In a sense, comment is a "seed" to use as reply in potential meta complaint "Y my Q downrated & close"

heh just close all the things
room topic changed to Programmers CV-Please: Room just to be closed / deleted. By entering this room you are inviting others to ping you for close votes. [[close-everything]] [[cv-plz]]
