This room has been frozen
I saw mods can unfreeze a room
Is there anyone willing to do so?
This room has been quite useful for beginners. There are active expert philosophy students and professionals. Whenever one asks a question, other members reply very soon.
So, I guess it would be nice if anyone consider to unfreeze this room
@MartinSleziak Hi. Seems like you warned about this a few days ago. So I am mentioning you hoping you can help.

@Earmen I am not a moderator, so I can't relly help.
The question is whether that rooms is really needed - it was rather silent.

@MartinSleziak Cheers for the interruption of the timer. We had to unfreeze this room already due to the lack of activity. Would be nice to see it used more often, actually
If you think that the rooms should be unfrozen, a moderator can do it.

Q: How do I unfreeze a frozen chat room?

Sathyajith BhatI created a room, and now it's frozen due to inactivity. How can I unfreeze it?

@PhilipKlöcking Since you are one of the moderators on [philosoophy.se], perhaps you could check out the chatroom - and maybe unfreeze it, if you think that it might be useful. (I have sent you an invite into this room - I hope this should give you some kind of notification about this.)

@Earmen done
@MartinSleziak Actually, only moderators can summon people and only in chat. So the invitation was a nice trick ;) But since every site moderator automatically is chat moderator, I did unfreeze the room.

Thanks for looking into that!

@MartinSleziak Well sure, I deem it quite important to have this chat room, even if people do not really use it as intended. I would like to have people casually hanging around there and...well...chat. A pity previous initiatives to get there failed

@PhilipKlöcking That is good to know. If I see that it is close to 14 days, I'll try to post something. (Even if just a message along the lines that it is getting close to getting frozen.)
In fact, the room would still be kept alive, but it was frozen when some other rooms associated with the site were created.
The system always keeps at least one room for the site open. (And the rooms imported from comments do not count for this purpose.)
