room topic changed to New Answers to Old Questions: Promote the high-quality answers you give to old questions, and review those of others. In particular: 1) post links to your answers of old (30 days+) questions. 2) Review the posts of others, and vote on them as appropriate. (no tags)
This room is meant to allow users who answer old questions to review each other's work and vote accordingly. The additional attention such answers receive will help combat the perceived "age bias" that old, mediocre answers enjoy over new, excellent answers.

@Nathaniel Yeah, we're much better now than those old codgers were two or three years ago. :P

@LeeWoofenden Note that I didn't say "all old answers are mediocre" =).

@LeeWoofenden I hope not! :) Ideally excellent old answers (of which there are many) will continue to dominate good and even excellent new ones.

The other answer provided here is currently more highly voted than Mr. Bultitude's. There's nothing wrong with it, per se, so I would certainly not downvote it. But in my opinion, Mr. Bultitude's answer is better, and the reason (again, IMO) it has fewer votes is primarily a result of its age, not its quality.

@Nathaniel I know. I'm just giving you a hard time. I think this is a great idea! I plan to follow and take part.
