Anyone have any idea on how to add a persistent route in busybox?
You could create a custom script in /etc/rc.local
ip route add 192.168.1.0/24 via 192.168.1.1
or possibly more correct in /etc/network/interfaces
auto eth0
iface eth0 inet static
    address 192.168.1.2
    netmask 255.255.255.0
    gateway 192.168.1.1
    post-up ip route add 192.168.1.0/24 via 192.168.1.1
Yeah, there is no rc.local or network directory in /etc
its an Asus RT-based router
/etc maps to /tmp/etc
find / -name network returns zero results

@HannahVernon sounds good; mention if you're running dd-wrt or the stock firmware. I doubt the stock firmware would be on-topic at U&L
