I wanted to install a "light-weight" desktop environment on a system, so I started installing "lubuntu-desktop"... Boy was that not light-weight! Why does it even need ImageMagick, Bluetooth stuff, and libvorbis? In hindsight, I should have just installed flwm as usual.
I think part of my issue was that I had the wrong idea of what "desktop" means nowadays. It's not just something that allows you to move windows around.
@Kusalananda I think the idea there is more "lightweight replacement of a Windows desktop" and not "lightweight desktop manager". And it's still lightweight if you compare to things like KDE and Gnome.
