@terdon Yeah it's pretty useful for me when dealing with smart hands in the datacenter for some issues
I guess it's kind of a niche use case though but if one participant is using the web interface the option just doesn't exist, it's not greyed out or anything it will just be missing from the menu
 
@jesse_b And it gives someone else control over your mouse?

I like a feature slack has that lets you draw on the other person's desktop, that's great for pointing, but I'd rather use a dedicated VNC tool and I don't really like the idea that a video messaging app even has this capability. Feels too risky.
 
I feel like a vnc server would be much more difficult to use over a public nat'd network though, no?
especially with a fairly non technical person on the other end
I admittedly have very limited experience with vnc but I remember it being difficult to get working each time I've done it

Yeah, it probably would be, but I've used anydesk to connect from my Arch to my dad's Windows, and it was quick and painless. Presumably it's more straightforward than a full VNC.
