I see SO elections are happening. But I don't see where it says how many mods are going to be elected.

(It's 3)

@MichaelHomer I see it. Thank you.
The current list shows 25 mods.
I wonder if the 3 new ones will be added to the existing list, or if some are retiring.

So, folks, doesn't 11~bpo9+1 count as >= 11?
dpkg-checkbuilddepsapparently disagrees.

fun times with regex ^((0[0-9]|1[0-2])|[0-9])\/(([0-2][0-9]|3[0-1])|[0-9])\/[0-9][0-9][0-9][0-9]\ ((0[0-9]|1[0-9]|2[0-3])|[0-9]):[0-9][0-9]$

@Jesse_b Matching dates and times?

@Kusalananda Yea
check.time () {
	CONVERT_CHK_TIME=$1
	if [[ $CONVERT_CHK_TIME =~ ^((0[0-9]|1[0-2])|[0-9])\/(([0-2][0-9]|3[0-1])|[0-9])\/[0-9][0-9][0-9][0-9]\ ((0[0-9]|1[0-2])|[0-9]):[0-9][0-9](AM|PM)$ ]]; then
		CONVERT_FORMAT='%m/%d/%Y %I:%M%p'
	elif [[ $CONVERT_CHK_TIME =~ ^((0[0-9]|1[0-2])|[0-9])\/(([0-2][0-9]|3[0-1])|[0-9])\/[0-9][0-9][0-9][0-9]\ ((0[0-9]|1[0-9]|2[0-3])|[0-9]):[0-9][0-9]$ ]]; then
		CONVERT_FORMAT='%m/%d/%Y %H:%M'
	elif [[ $CONVERT_CHK_TIME =~ ^((0[0-9]|1[0-2])|[1-9]):[0-9][0-9](AM|PM)$ ]]; then
for some reason it wont let me put them in a case though

Just use [0-9] everywhere and then, if you need to verify that the time is valid, do that separtely.

I want to try and differentiate between 12 and 24 hour clock
I guess it's subject to user error either way
regex is actually pretty fun though

case "$1" in (*/*:*[AP]M) echo 'date+time 12h';; (*/*:*) echo 'date+time 24h';; (*:*[AP]M) echo 'time 12h' ;; (*:*) echo 'time 24h';; (*) echo 'error' esac or something.

well way to ruin my good time
:-P

@Jesse_b Not really. Those patterns of mine makes very little effort to check that the string is valid.

TZ=America/Denver gdate -d '03/24/2018 10:00PM'
But I see what you're getting at.

We have to convert timezones a lot for network maintenances
