Hello @Robert
On certain programming/development related questions I sometimes see that your vote is for migration to Stack Overflow. I see that you are also a trusted user on SO by reputation.
I would very much like to help all those OPs by migrating their questions to SO instead of closing the question and probably upsetting them in the process, but I don't do that because I don't know what SO's question quality requirements are and I'm not inclined to learn them either, that's why I have often overridden your migration vote by my close vote.
However, I want to know whether I can trust your judgment with absolute certainty that a given question is indeed a good fit for migration to SO and that I wouldn't be accused of migrating crap onto them. :)
Let me know if you think I can rely on your judgment when it comes to migration.
OTOH, @AndrewT. would you be willing to invest time into migration? Please see my comments above for context.
You are also a SO user, though you might be less frequent there. Nevertheless, both of you are better placed to understand SO's quality requirements than I am.
Let me know if both are you interested. I can than decide to steer clear of all such questions where a migration vote is already casted so that both of you can take care of that.

Hi @Firelord, I can help for evaluating the migration vote to SO. Though, my preferred stricter policy is still usually closing those questions instead of migrating them even if they have already a migration vote.

@AndrewT. Thanks. My own policy is the same so far. It's just I always felt sort of bad when overriding a migration vote, so I thought to ask Robert on this matter. I will see how he wants to take things. If he is fine with that linked policy (suggesting migration through comments, not votes), than all good here. :-)

Hi! could someone help me understand why this android.stackexchange.com/questions/234074 question is off topic ? there are a lot of other questions about AOSP building etc. even in the linked and related category, was there a policy change on this SE ?

@Darius Hi. Some questions where even if OP appears to be developing an app or even sometimes a ROM are allowed because OP is often able to demonstrate in the question how the problem is of use to an end-user (power user precisely) as well. The question linked in your question follow this same pattern. If you could edit your question with examples and attempts which would make a end-user encounter the same problem, I would be happy to review my close vote.

@Firelord Hi @Firelord, the question migrating or closing is not an easy one and most of the time I also end up marking a question to be closed and not migrating it. Especially considering all those bad or off-topic questions we get migrated from superuser just because "Android" is mentioned somewhere in the question. However on some questions in the last time I have set a migrate vote as from my perspective those questions could be answered on Stackoverflow.
@Firelord Therefore for the few questions I mark for migration feel free to follow my proposal. I will continue to be carefully on the questions I mark for migration.

@Robert thanks. ;)
