I took a few books to my morning minyan and they were wildly popular (will take more next time). A member of another local congregation who was there asked about getting copies for them too; he needs to check for permission but he thinks it will not be a problem. ("Because it's you", he said. Wow.) Anyway, @IsaacMoses, I'm probably going to need some more books -- will let you know as soon as I have more info.

@MonicaCellio Excellent! It's probably too late to get them to you in time for R"H*, but in time for Y"K should be no problem and should still be worthwhile. (* Because standard Priority from SS to Pittsburgh is 2 days, the soonest pickup would be tomorrow-Friday, and USPS doesn't run on Sunday, which is already Erev RH.)

@IsaacMoses 2 days - Friday and Shabbat. I don't quite remember the halacha, but i don't think it's a problem with non-Jewish mail carriers. Feel free to correct me.

@Scimonster Pretty sure the first day would be Shabbat and the second would be Monday.

@IsaacMoses yes, I was already assuming this wouldn't happen before RH. I can give him some copies before RH with a promise of more next week. (For one congregation the rabbi never got back to me with approval after multiple pings, but the smaller minyan is fine with me showing up with copies when I'm there. So that's what I'm doing, instead of leaving a bigger stack.)

Same-day would be Friday, one-day would be Saturday (and would cost about 4X as much, FTR).

Yeah, no need to pay for rush shipment; regular priority mail will be fine.

@IsaacMoses Delta(views) on the landing page has passed 500. Torah Musings exposure was helpful. We haven't yet gotten SE or Joel to tweet about it.
... Will bug them both tomorrow morning, b"n.

Since, AFAIK, the Anglos in my community aren't the most prolific booklet-takers, i will try and prompt some people to take, in case they didn't notice it. Something like, "BTW have you ever wondered ...? You can find out that and lots more in the book".

@Scimonster Behatzlacha!

I'll keep one book for myself, both because i'm proud of the work i put into it, and also because some family members would probably be interested. That leaves 13 for other people, which is a fair number for the size of the community.

@Scimonster I should hope that you'd keep one!

Yes, you should definitely keep one for yourself/your family!
