Yeah, just tested -- never mind all that!

4:38 PM
@IsaacMoses I just checked a descender that's clipped online against a printed page and it looks fine in the latter. The specific case I tested was in the intro, penultimate paragraph, "implementing" (g clipped on-screen but complete on paper).

5:29 PM
@MonicaCellio Excellent. Thanks.

5:43 PM
@MonicaCellio Uh, great! (Whatever it was.)

@IsaacMoses sorry about the (I assume) errant ping. (I thought if I deleted the message it might remove the ping from your inbox so you wouldn't be troubled by it. I misunderstood something about the QR code in the intro; no worries.)

@IsaacMoses I still haven't heard from the last rabbi but I went ahead and filled out the form anyway, adding some pad to the number I already had on the theory that I can at least distribute in the morning minyan even if not the congregation at large. If he gets back to me in time and approves something more, I'll let you know.

6:43 PM
@MonicaCellio Sounds good. Thanks.

2 hours later…
8:34 PM
@MonicaCellio, sending a new email to my rav as we speak so that I can ascertain numbers. I would have sent in the formal request, but I hadn't heard back from him.

@NoachmiFrankfurt thanks, and understood -- I held off on the form while waiting for an answer too.

@NoachmiFrankfurt Assuming all goes well, I should be putting in an order for more than have been requested so far on Sunday night. I don't know how long it's going to take Staples to turn around the order and send it to me, but once they do, I'll want to be divvying up the copies and mailing them out as soon after that as possible. That said, as long as there are still excess copies, and it's not too late to get them mailed somewhere before Y"K, I can still send them.
... so, if you can get in your request by Tuesday or Wednesday, that'd be ideal. If not, it's still OK.
@MonicaCellio me three
