@Zizouz212 I thought I'd ask this in here rather than end up with a long comment thread at meta.opensource.stackexchange.com/a/739/4763 - how should I read 'community agreement'? i.e. is there a sort of threshold of number of people who need to agree first? There were 3 of us in that thread, and 5 upvotes on the question.

In an ideal world, you'd aim to have a few people offer comments and votes. Also, votes on questions don't often tend to help, especially if they are not feature requests - many people vote on the question because it's good, and not always because they agree with it.

Ok, fair enough. So if you say 'someone can repost it at their will', that only means something if a few people agree

You also need time. At least a couple of days

I guess I took your word as permission ;)

Yeah, I think I was just stating my own viewpoint there. Sorry about that :/

Ok, I'll keep in mind to wait next time.

There's going to be lots and lots of interesting discussions in the coming weeks - Programmers is taking a big scope overhaul, and it looks like they are taking away all legal/licensing stuff. And then Stack Overflow, I'm going to see if I can instigate some discussion there, now that school is over for me :)

It's because of your diamond - if you say someone, I go 'ok great, that's the word' :P
something* not someone

Haha, the diamond

Looking forward to those discussions!

I might post things with links to those discussions here as well
Here being on meta

That'd be awesome
On a related topic, should we do anything about all the licensing questions that are probably deleted at SO? i.e. should we find someone there with 10k+ who can help dig them out, and then see what the community here thinks about re-posting (if they're good)?

Nah, I wouldn't worry too much about collecting things

I'm just worried that it will increase activity to levels the community can't handle, and partly, it's not really much use to the community anyway

Fair enough :) I guess when those questions come up, they'll come up then :)
(I was worrying about content.. to borrow from your SO meta post haha)

lol
I'm sure we'll figure out a way to make things work :)
